Safety Technology: Our HINS Pure technology operates continuously throughout the day, emitting 10 seconds of visible blue light every 10 minutes for sterilization before shutting off to extend its lifespan. This visible light protection differs from the light technology used in other air purifiers, as it uses a safer 405-micron wavelength. Superior Filtration: Our HEPASilent dual filtration technology combines traditional mechanical filtration with electrostatic discharge technology to remove 99.97% of airborne particles smaller than 0.1 microns; this ensures efficient capture of tiny particles such as smoke, dust, allergens, and even viruses and bacteria, while minimizing noise and energy consumption. We recommend replacing the filter every 6 to 9 months; the filter is included with the device. This air purifier is AHAM Verifide certified, meaning it has undergone independent third-party safety and performance testing. It uses advanced technology, combining traditional mechanical filtration and electrostatic particle charging, to remove 99.97% of airborne particles of 0.1 microns and larger. This ensures that tiny particles such as smoke, dust, allergens, and even viruses and bacteria are captured by our scientifically proven PhotonPure technology, while minimizing noise and energy consumption. Thanks to our unique RealTrack algorithm, which uses fan speed, usage time, and degree of clogging to accurately calculate filter clogging based on actual usage, you can determine when to replace the filter more accurately up to a year in advance. Noise levels are based on the highest level allowed by AHAM certification and may differ from the value shown on the AHAM label; noise refers to the difference in sound power in dB(A). In similar CADR measurements, Blueair models with both mechanical and electrostatic filtration are quieter and consume less energy than their counterparts with only an H13 HEPA mechanical filter.
